Free measures to help stop the spread of COVID-19:
You can now get up to 3 medical grade N95 face masks for free distributed at many pharmacies and grocery stores nation wide released from a federal stock pile. Some places include Coborns, Walgreens, Walmart, and CVS.
In addition that state of Minnesota is distributing K95 masks to local health agencies, schools, medical clinics that serve Medicaid recipients, and tribal nations.
The medical grade masks offer much greater protection than non-medical masks, but are limited in how long they can be used and create more waste compared to cloth masks.
In addition vaccines and boosters for COVID-19 are free, and they are available many locations including most pharmacies and clinics throughout the US.
Also up to 4 COVID-19 test kits can be ordered per household at https://www.covidtests.gov . There are also at home monitored testing available free from the state of Minnesota (this isn't as quick and requires a video call) https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/testsites/athome.html
There are other options available as well.
